Whaea Karen is an integral part of our school community, visiting us weekly to lead our kapa haka sessions. Through her, we have met so many visitors who are working and learning across different spheres to contribute to life here out at the coast. As our cultural advisor and mentor, Whaea Karen's influence extends beyond the classroom, enriching the lives of many across the Kāwhia community and surrounding rohe.

With a wealth of experience both cultural and educational, Whaea Karen's contributions are deeply valued.
